I have been a subscriber to The Gentle Author of Spitalfields Life for several years. Most days I receive an anonymous email with interesting historical and sometimes contemporary goings on around Spitalfields, Hackney and the East End of London, generally with some interesting photographs within it.
They make for fascinating reading.
